the new england patriots are off to there first ever 8-0 start in history by scalping the washington redskins 52-7 at gillette stadium and it is also the first time the patriots have beaten the redskins since 1972. the score was 52-0 before the redskins even scored and that was late in the 4th quarter. the patriots also scored on defense when line backer mike vrable forced a fumble on redskins quarter back j.campbell that was recovered by rosy colvin and returned 11yards for a touchdown. tom brady and that offensive were spectactular once again brady 29-38 306 yards and 3 touchdowns bringing his season total to 30and on pace to break the all time record.
